We walked in not expecting much but ended up Having a great time with no "misses" amongst the three of us. Pleasant, accommodating, efficient service in an open, modern minimalist setting makes this place one of the better and, I think, most underrated Indian/Nepali restaurants in McLean. - Lychee martini: nice and light, balanced, not too sweet but definitely taste the lychee - Mango lassi: decent, a bit sweeter than I like (lassi should have some tang from the yogurt, imo) but hubby and my mom thought it was perfect - Samosa chaat: excellent flavors, classic chaat flavor. Chole could be a bit less...soupy but the flavors are all there. - Aloo saag: FLUFFY beautiful texture. Good balance of saag and aloo. Saag tasted fresh. - Aloo tama: never seen this one on a menu so I was intrigued and, ultimately, Very pleasantly surprised This has bamboo shoots and potato. Best at a medium spice level. Can't really describe the taste as anything other than "different in a good way". If you are bored of the usual stuff on a North Indian restaurant menu check this dish out! - Chicken saag: hubby really enjoyed the light and fluffy texture of the saag and, the dish as a whole. It didn't weigh him down at all. Plenty of chicken, too. I'd definitely come back. Is it extraordinary and innovative? No. Do they do an excellent job executing classic North Indian and Nepali dishes? Absolutely YES.

I don't know my way around an Indian menu very well, but the Salmon was SUPERB. It was served sizzling hot on the table with tender onions and peppers. The chicken dumplings and sauces were flavorful, and the bread was yummy as well. Service was good. An all-around delightful dinner. I'll certainly be back.

Masala is once again serving its buffet... service was good, food quite good and fresh and tables were clean. Used to go before covid , glad they are back

We've been ordering the fantastic white meat butter chicken and veggie potato and peas samosas with the tasty sauce for years. Delish Friday night dinner to have delivered after the end of the workweek.

We carried out chicken kadai and the bread basket. Food was delicious and quantity was decent.

Great portion size, flavorful, and prompt service... what more can one ask for?! We came on a rainy Saturday afternoon and was immediately seated. We had the veggie samosas, which was wayyy bigger than we imagined. These were fried perfectly, with a great amount of moistness right in the middle. We then opted to order the garlic basil naan which was absolutely scrumptious. I could definitely eat an order of this all by my lonesome and still crave more! I then had the chicken tikka masala, which gave me about three normal size servings (in my opinion) and was very appetizing.

This has been one of my wife's favorite spots to eat because of their chicken momos and I can see why. We had dinner here a few weeks ago and ordered the chicken momos, butter chicken, and garlic naan. The highlight was the chicken momos. Juicy, and flavorful, you can just pop them in your mouth and really enjoy each bite. It's cooked perfectly, and the sauce it comes with is solid. The butter chicken was good, similar to other places I've had butter chicken and same for the garlic naan. There's plenty of seating inside and ample parking too. I'll probably be back here when my wife has a craving haha.

Masala was a great spot to grab a bite for lunch. The atmosphere was calming with comforting music in the background. The dining room was warm and inviting and our service was exceptional. The food came out quick and was sizeable. I came home with leftovers. I ordered the chicken tikki masala medium and the spice level was solid. The goat cheese naan was a must try and paired well with the dish. All in all this restaurant exceeded all of my expectations and had a lot of other dishes that sounded delicious!
